SIX-HOUR ADVICE
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has met Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at a critical summit and warned him to put an immediate end to operations and make democratic reforms. The meeting lasted for about three hours. While the meeting was continuing, Syrian tanks stormed the city of Binnish near the Turkish border, escalating tension. Later, Davutoglu and al-Assad held a 3.5-hour tete-a-tete meeting. Turkish Foreign Minister told him that acts of violence could jeopardize Syria's territorial integrity. 

ROAD MAP AGAINST CRISES
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has convened an economy meeting at his office to discuss the global financial crisis. During the meeting, a ten-article package was adopted. A statement released following the meeting read that the crisis would not have a permanent impact on Turkish economy.   

A HOPEGIVING TRANSPLANT
Surgeons at the Akdeniz University have conducted a successful uterus transplant. The organ from a cadaver was transplanted to a 20-year-old patient during a seven-hour surgery. The uterus transplant was performed in Germany in 1931 and in Saudi Arabia in 2000, but both operations failed.

TURKS CARRYING STICKS BECAME HERO
Riot in London spread to Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. Turks, carrying sticks, wait in front of the shops against looting. The Turks earned admiration of British people.
The protesters, looting the shops and setting the cars into fire, even rob passing by people. One dead and 14 injured reported in the incidents. 525 people are under arrest.
The heros of the incidents are the Turks in Dalston standing guard with sticks. British media gave a broad place to Turks who managed to fought off the protesters who attacked their property.

EVERY PASSING DAY IS VERY IMPORTANT
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu had a 6.5 hour meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. Davutoglu relayed written message of President Abdullah Gul and verbal message of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Al-Assad. 
Davutoglu said not months, but days and weeks are important for the reforms from now on. 
According to SANA agency, Davutoglu told Assad that leaders of each two countries considered the incidents in the other as their own internal matters.

"NOT MONTHS BUT DAYS REMAINED"
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu returned to Turkey after meeting Syrian President Bashar Al-Asad for 6.5 hours. Davutoglu said, "we will see what will happen not in months but in days".
Davutoglu, who paid visit to Syria 49 times so far, relayed strong messages during the 6.5 hour visit. Three hours of the visit was with the delegations. They had a tete-a-tete meeting for 3.5 hours.

1,500 FAMILIES RESCUED
50 tones of assistance collected in aid campaign for Somalia under the leadership of Sabah newspaper reached Mogadishu. The foodstuff will be enough for 1,500 families. People of Somalia welcomed the planes in admiration and prayers. 
Distribution of the aid packages started immediately.
