By Abdullah Bogas (with photos) KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (KUNA) -- In a move meant to spread awareness about Kuwaiti culture and traditions, particularly during Ramadan, the Kuwaiti embassy in Malaysia holds a daily Diwaniyah (a traditional meeting place) where it receives guests, mainly Arab and Gulf diplomats.
In statements to KUNA, Hamad Ali Al-Hazeem, an advisor at the Kuwaiti embassy, hailed the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry's support of such initiatives, aimed at promoting the Kuwaiti culture and traditions.
Diwanyiyah meetings, start following the Ramadan night prayers and last to the wee hours, include social activities and discussions over a large array of topics, Al-Hazeem noted.(end) aab.ibi KUNA 101227 Aug 11NNNN
