Krasnodar Territory to present over 1000 projects at Sochi forum

        KRASNODAR, August 12 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia's Krasnodar Territory will
present at the jubilee 10th International investment forum Sochi-2011 a
record number of own projects - about 1,700. The prestigious event will be
organised on September 15-18 of the current year.
    The territory's department  of investments and projects follow-up said
that "most projects are 100 percent ready, thus investors may start
implementing them without wasting time." The projects include development
of the Novorossiisk trade port, construction of a high speed toll road to
the Black Sea between Abinsk and Kabardinka, as well as a project of the
Formula-1 route in Sochi.
    "All projects will be in various clusters, including Resort and
Housing Real Estate, Agriculture and Consumer Market, Industry, Transport
and Infrastructure," the source said.
    The previous year's forum in Sochi featured delegations from Russia's
53 territories and representatives of 32 countries, where 170 Russian and
foreign companies participated in the exhibition there. Over the business
programme of the forum, businesses signed 376 agreements worth 768 billion
roubles. Culture and sports events for the participants have become
traditional. The forum of 2010 offered two festivals - of Kuban's cuisine
and Kuban's wines.
