RF-Turkmenistan Intergovtl Com to meet in Moscow in Nov.

MOSCOW, August 12 (Itar-Tass) -- A sixth meeting of the
Russian-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation will
be held in Moscow in November 2011. This decision was adopted during talks
between Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov and Turkmen
Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, the site of the Russian government
reports.
The sides discussed issues which are to be put on the agenda of the
forthcoming meeting. Besides, they exchanged opinions on some projects in
the oil and gas sphere, as well as in the field of transport, education
and science.
During the visit to Turkmenistan, Zubkov also met with President
Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov of the country. The sides discussed prospects
for interaction of Russia and Turkmenistan in the economic field. They
pointed to the actuality of further strengthening of interregional ties
and interaction in the field of education and culture.
