About 30 football fans detained during Spartak-Anzhi match in Moscow
MINSK, August 15 (Itar-Tass) -- Police detained about 30 football fans
at Moscow's Luzhniki stadium on Sunday night when the Moscow-based Spartak
played a game with Makhachkala's Anzhi in the 20th season of the Russian
football championship, a spokesman for the Moscow police told Itar-Tass.
"In all, police detained 28 people. One of them was detained for
disruptive behavior, the rest - for getting drunk in a public place," the
spokesman said.
More than 2,000 policemen were protecting law and order during the
match, in which Anzhi received a 0-3 loss.
