Indonesia buys 12 Superject-100 airliners for over $380 mln.
ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow Region, August 16 (Itar-Tass) - The Sukhoi Civil
Planes Company and the Indonesian Sky Aviation Company signed a
fixed-price contract for purchasing 12 airliners Sukhoi Superject-100.
The value of this big deal, concluded on Tuesday at the MAKS-2011 air
show, is assessed at 380.4 million US dollars, Itar-Tass reports from the
show. The periods of planes' deliveries - 2012-2015. The memorandum of
intent was signed by the sides last June at the Le Bourget air show.
The first serial Superject-100 was handed over to the start customer
on April 19 - the Armenian Armania Air Company. The second - to Aeroflot
on June 9. The jetliner spent in air over 168 hours in the first month of
operation by the Armania Company, carrying over 2,885 passengers to the
total distance of 85,800 kilometers.
The airliner was developed by the Sukhoi Civil Planes Company. Its
stockholders include the Sukhoi holding - 75 percent and World's Wing SA -
25 percent.
