ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow region, August 16 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's federal

Roscosmos chief Vladimir Popovkin and the president of China Great
Wall Industry Corporation, Lin Limin, had a working meeting on the
sidelines of the MAKS-2011 air show near Moscow, Roscosmos spokesman
Alexei Kuznetsov told Itar-Tass.
"The meeting focused on a range of issues under the Russian-Chinese
space cooperation program for 2010-2012, in particular the creation of a
satellite system for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, joint deep
space research, cooperation in moon exploration and manned space
missions," Kuznetsov said.
"Russia and China have all opportunities for deeper cooperation,"
Popovkin was quoted as saying. "We approached the phase of relations, when
we can jointly implement space projects for scientific and peaceful
purposes."
