Turkish Official Stresses Further Development of Ties with Iran
TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkish Deputy Prime Minister for Parliamentary and Religious Affairs Bekir Bozdag in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Bahman Hosseinpour underlined the friendly relations between the two neighbors, and called for the further reinvigoration of bilateral ties.
Turkey sincerely believes that bilateral relations should develop in all fields, Bozdag said, adding that the viewpoints of both countries are close to each other.
The Turkish official called Iran a big country with ancient history with many interesting points to visit and said that we should persuade our compatriots to visit the ancient land of Iran.
Bozdag also underlined parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and said that Turkey tries to increase this cooperation with Iran and expressed hope that reciprocal visits could happen more by the two countries parliamentarians.
He also underlined necessity of expansion of religious cooperation between the two countries.
Iran and Turkey have in recent years increased their cooperation in all the various fields of economy, security, trade, education, energy and culture.
The two sides have exchanged several politico-economic delegations during the last few months.
