Eight soldiers killed in Turkey's southeast (update)
SIVAS (A.A) - August 17, 2011 - Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz said on Wednesday that eight soldiers were killed in a roadside mine blast on Hakkari-Cukurca highway.
Yilmaz said, "there is nothing they can get from the Republic of Turkey. The Republic of Turkey is the leader in its region in terms of economy and military. They are trying to test our patience. We will defeat them by acting within the scope of laws and democracy. Everybody will see us defeating them."
Yilmaz said, "what they do is cruelty, threat and terror. All those will be retorted."
