Russian, French companies set up navigation system JV.

ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow region, August 18 (Itar-Tass) -- Rosoboronexport,
Inertial Technologies of Technocomplex and French Sagem set up a joint
venture, RS Alliance.
The relevant agreement was signed on Wednesday, August 17, in the
presence of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
The joint venture will make the new 5th generation navigation system
LINS-100 RS designed by Sagem and Inertial Technologies of Technocomplex.
It will secure high accuracy for military aircraft.
The joint venture will be based in Russia.
Inertial Technologies of Technocomplex (ITT) is one of the leading
Russian companies. Its mission is to provide high technologies in inertial
navigation to producers of military and commercial aviation. ITT provides
full cycle of work from projecting and implement to production with the
following technical guiding.
The company creates inertial systems of navigation for all types of
vehicles, gyposcopes, accelerometers, angular speed sensor and service
devices, microelectronic and micro mechanic for special purpose, testing
equipment for research and production of sensors and navigation systems,
algorithms, programmes for inertial navigation systems and equipment for
setting and probation.
ITT's partners are Sukhoi, MIG, Kamov, and Mil Moscow Helicopter
Factory.
