Sukhoi to supply SuperJet-100 to Gazpromavia, VEB Leasing, UTAir.
ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow region, August 18 (Itar-Tass) -- Sukhoi Civil
Aircraft Company has signed a contract for the supply of 10 Sukhoi
SuperJet-100 planes to the Gazpromavia airline.
The document was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Vladimir
Putin at the MAKS-2011 air show on Wednesday, August 17.
The planes will be supplied in 2013-2015. The deal is estimated at 323
million U.S. dollars in current catalogue prices.
Earlier this week, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company signed a contract for
the sale of 12 Sukhoi SuperJet-100 planes to Indonesia's Sky Aviation. The
deal is estimated at 380.4 million U.S. dollars.
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) plans to sign 100 Sukhoi
SuperJet-100 and MS-21 planes on the sidelines of the MAKS-2011 air show.
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company will also lease 24 SuperJet-100 planes
to VEB Leasing and UTAir. The deal is estimated at 760.8 million U.S.
dollars.
The first serial SuperJet-100 was handed over to Armenia's Armavia on
April 19. During the first month of operation by Armavia, the plane flew
for more than 168 hours and transported over 2,885 passengers to a
distance of about 85,800 kilometres.
The second plane went to Aeroflot on June 9. The plane to be operated
by Aeroflot made the first regular flight on June 16.
