Russia's new technology park in Perm to make rocket, aircraft engines in 2017
MOSCOW, August 18 (Itar-Tass) -- The technology park "Novy Zvyozdny"
(New Star City) will be created 30 kilometres from Perm by 2017 to make
RD-191 engines for future environmentally-friendly Angara carrier rockets.
Angara will allow Russia to launch all kinds of spacecraft to any
orbit. Now Russia can launch heavy satellites only aboard Proton rockets
from Baikonur.
