KRASNODAR, August 19 (Itar-Tass) - A district court on Thursday
sentenced Arteks-Agro director general and founder Nadezhda Tsapok to
three years for theft of budget money. Tsapok is mother of a suspect
accused of masterminding a massacre of 12 persons in the village of

She was also fined 500,000 roubles, the court's office told Itar-Tass.
"Tsapok planned a theft of budget money by organized group in April
2010," the press service of the regional prosecutor's office said. She
took the role of leader, provided fake documents and committed criminal
actions. She ordered her subordinates to sign documents on her behalf.
"The group submitted fake documents to the department of agriculture
and processing industry of the Krasnodar Territory which were used to
embezzle 15 million roubles from the budgets of the Russian Federation and
the Krasnodar Territory.
Another suspect in the fraud case, chief accountant of the company

The trial was postponed several times due to the absence of the
defendant's lawyers. It only began after a judge appointed a standby
lawyer who attended all the hearings.
