Kim motorcade leaves railway terminal

ULAN UDE, August 23 (Itar-Tass) - Yje special train of Kim JOng Il
arrived here on Tuesday morning. The train stopped at Ulan Ude railway
terminal. Over there, the North Korean leader was met by Viktor Ishayev,
RF presidential plenipotentiary representative in the Far Eastern Federal
District, Buryatia's President Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn, and other officials.
Following a welcoming ceremony, a government motorcade left the
railway terminal. Judging by the direction in which the motor
vehicles,they are riding along the Ulan Ude - Kurumkan road, leading tothe
popular health resorts on the shore of Lake Baikal. A Federal tourist zone
Baikalskaya Gavan (Baikal Harbour), which is being establishe in Buryatia,
is located in that area. The programme for the North Korean leader's stay
in Buryatia is still kept secret.
