International nanotech congress to open in Ufa Tue

UFA, Bashkortostan, August 23 (Itar-Tass) - An international congress
on nanotechnologies "From Science to Innovations" opens here on Tuesday,
with over 200 scientists from17 countries participating, an organizing
committee official has told Itar-Tass.
The organizational structure of the forum includes six roundtable
meetings which will encompass all aspects of the development, production
and application of solid nano-structured materials.
Participants in the congress will discuss matters concerning
nanotitanium applications in medicine, computer-aided simulation of the
analysis of the texture and X-ray research, the problems of arranging
multi-level education in the field of nano-scale technologies in Russia.
Organized within the scope of the forum will be Second specialized
exhibition of high technologies, Third international symposium "Solid
Nanostructured Materials: from Science to Innovations BNM-2011".
Matters relating to the subtleties of the diffusion of atoms in solid
nano-structured materials and associated unique properties are to be
considered at a Ruso-Franco-German sympoisum. A master class on the theme
of "The Peculiarities of Arrangements for Transfer of Technologies in the
Field of Nanonindustry" will be organized for republican specialists.
Ufa State University of Aviation Technology specialists are regarded
as nanoindustry pioneers in Bashkortostan. An interepublican science and
technology center is being established on the basis of the University for
the development and introduction of solid nanostructured materials.
Specialists at the Center will engage in research and experimental design
workt to obtain alloys intended for use in biomedicine, automobile
manufacture, aviationc construction and other sectors.
The congress, which is to contiue until Aug 25, has been organized by
the government of Bashkortostan, "Rosnanotech", Moscow-based International
sci&tech center, and the Russian basic research foundation.
