Khammouane suffers 45 bln kip as damage by natural disasters
Vientiane,aug.(KPL)- Khammouane has estimated the damage caused by two typhoons Haima and Nockten to roads and bridges at over 45 billion kip, according to the Provincial Public Works and Transport.
The damaged include 99 roads with a combined damaged stretch of 350 km.
National highway No 13 stretching between Borikhamsay and Savannakhet and Road No 12 stretching between Road No 13 South to the Lao-Vietnamese Border and Road No 1F from running from Road No 12 to the Administration Office of Bouathong district are reportedly damaged by the natural disasters. The Service said that Road No 11 between Thakhek district and Nongbok district has been disconnected and is under repairing.
