IFRC Introduces Korean Citizen's Laudable Deed
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) recently posted on its website a news story about a DPRK citizen who died after rescuing two children from flood.
According to the story, a peasant in Chongdan County, South Hwanghae Province, sacrificed himself for saving two children from a collapsing house when the area was flooded in July.
IFRC praised what he did as a heroic rescue activity.
