Treasuries-Sept sales S. Korea to sell 5.2 tln won in state debts in Sept.

SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will sell state bonds worth 5.2 trillion won (US$4.8 billion) in September, the finance ministry said Thursday. According to the ministry, the government will sell 1 trillion won in three-year Treasuries, 1.6 trillion won in five-year debts and 1.6 trillion won worth of 10-year bonds next month. It also plans to issue 1 trillion won worth of bonds that mature in 20 years. In August, South Korea sold about 6.61 trillion won worth of state bonds, the ministry added. kokobj@yna.co.kr
