NKorea-RF friendship relations to continue consolidatng-Kim Jong-il

PYONGYANG, August 26 (Itar-Tass) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-il on
Thursday sent a telegramme to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev after
concluding his trip to Far Eastern and Siberian regions of Russia, the
North Korean central news agency reported.
The Secretary-General of the Workers' Party of Korea and National
Defence Commission Chairman in the telegramme expressed appreciation to
the Russian leaders, top officials of the Siberian and Far East Federal
Districts and all Russian people for the warm welcome and hospitality.
Kim Jong-il emphasized that he was completely satisfied with the
consensus reached in the talks with the Russian president on all the
issues of mutual interest.
According to the head of the DPRK, during his visit, he was deeply
impressed with the activity of industrious Russian people working for
social and economic progress and prosperity.
Relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Russia
will consolidate in accordance with the agreement reached during the
meeting with the Russian president, Kim said.
The North Korean leader believes Russia's people will achieve great
successes in the creation of a powerful and modern state.
