FSB officer killed in Ingushetia
NAZRAN, August 28 (Itar-Tass) -- An officer of the Federal Security
Service's department in Ingushetia has been killed in the city of
Malgobek, a source of the Investigative Committee's department in the
republic told Itar-Tass.
On Saturday at about 23:00 Moscow time, on a staircase in a building
in Malgobek, an unknown attacker shot Magomed Korigov, 29, an officer of
the Malgobek service of the FSB department. Korigov died of the wounds.
The attacker escaped.
A criminal case is opened over the murder. An operation is underway
to find and arrest the killer.
