Samsung named top dishwasher brand in U.S. consumer review

SEOUL, Aug. 28 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co., South Korea's leading electronics firm, said Sunday that it was rated as the top brand for dishwashers by a U.S. consumer evaluation agency.
According to Samsung, its DMT800-series model topped the consumer review conducted by Reviewed.com, a division of USA Today.
Samsung Electronics said demand for dishwashers is on the rise despite a slump in the U.S. economy.
The company said it will continue to expand its sales networks in the second half of the year to meet growing demand there.
