ISACO to Back up IKCO Overseas Aftermarket
TEHRAN (FNA)- ISACO, Iran Khodro After-sale Services Company, along with Iran Khodro global sales, is due to start analyzing the quality of the company's aftermarket in a bid to organize and improve the performance of IKCO overseas aftermarket centers.
Considering the importance of IKCO's presence in international markets as one of the main concerns of the company's management, Zahiri, ISACO CEO told the press in the 7th Moscow InterAuto Exhibition (Moscow International Motor Show) that his company would take action to let high quality parts and components flow in the aftermarkets, considering each market's unique specifications.
"Russia is one of our target markets for selling cars," he declared, and added, " this market is quite a potential one as long as there is a general custom department for the three countries of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and also the existing 40% tariff for car import will bring about a good opportunity for us to export Iranian cars to this region."
According to Zahiri, aftermarket services are costly in this region and this also gives the clue to ISACO to reorganize the existing aftermarket centers of the company and introduce new ones.
The ISACO CEO believes this can ignite a successful competition with other company's aftermarket centers, leading IKCO to even present services to the owners of non-IKCO cars like Renault, Peugeot and Suzuki in Russia's market.
