Elderly man reverses over wife in Perth
An 85-year-old Perth man reversing a Honda Civic out of his driveway has run over his elderly wife, who later died in hospital.
The 73-year-old woman was standing behind the car, guiding her husband out of the driveway when she was run over, police said on Wednesday.
The man allegedly continued to reverse across the road and ended up driving through a fence before colliding with a house.
His wife was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where she later died.
Police are still investigating the incident.
