Many vying for seats in Vientiane Secondary School
VIENTIANE,SETP1. (KPL)- Numerous students are vying to enroll with the most popular Vientiane Secondary School but the school can accommodate only 3,500 students, according to director of the school, Mr. Bounthome Kenamoune.
He said that the school still needed at least ten more teachers, for example, of history and geography because it had only 27 teachers teaching these subjects.
Last academic year, the school awarded 10 red certificates to best matthayom-seven students. Most of them have an average grade of nine plus, according to Mr. Bounthome.
He said that the school aimed to increase the number of students deserving red certificates up to over ten this 2011-2012 academic year.
