Bolt looks to defend 200-meter crown

DAEGU, Sept. 3 (Yonhap) -- Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt will look to win his second straight 200-meter world title this weekend and redeem himself for the false start in the 100-meter final at the World Championships in Athletics.
He enters the 200-meter final Saturday with the season's fastest time of 19.86 seconds.
Nine gold medals are up for grabs Saturday, more than any other day in the nine-day competition that opened on Aug. 27. In women's high jump, the world record of 2.09 meters could be in danger, as Croatian Blanca Vlasic and Russian Anna Chicherova battle for the crown. Vlasic, who's been battling left quad injury, has the person best of 2.08, and Chicherova recently cleared 2.07 meters.
