31 fans detained at stadium during RF-Macedonia match

MOSCOW, September 3 (Itar-Tass) -- Thirty one fans were detained at
Moscow's Luzhniki stadium, where the Russian and Macedonian teams played a
Europe-2012 qualifying match on Friday, the press service of the special
purpose centre of the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass.
The fans were detained for various offences -- 20 for alcohol
drinking, five for disorderly conduct, six for appearance in a drunken
state at a public place and two for an attempt to use fireworks, the
source said. The detained persons were taken to police offices.
There were no serious incidents at the stadium and around.
About 2,500 Moscow policemen and interior ministry troops ensured
security and public order in Luzhniki. Police also patrolled areas near
sport bars where the match was shown on TV.
About 32,000 people, including 20 guests from Macedonia, watched the
match at the stadium,
The Russian team won 1:0.
