Senior Arab Journalist Questions Turkey's Honesty in Animosity towards Israel

TEHRAN (FNA)- Ghassan bin Jadu, a well-known journalist in the Arab world, voiced suspicion about the expulsion of the Zionist regime's ambassador from Turkey, and said that Ankara only pretends to be an enemy of Israel.
"We see no congruence between the expulsion of the Israeli envoy from Ankara and Turkey's policies against Damascus. Hence, I believe that Turkey pretends to be an enemy of Israel through such a policy towards Tel Aviv," Ghassan bin Jadu told FNA on Tuesday.
He blasted Turkey for its policies towards Syria, and said Ankara seeks to help to the collapse of Assad's government through provoking the Syrian opposition and cooperating with the NATO in (a future) military operation against Damascus.
Earlier, an Iranian MP had warned that Washington is trying to push Turkey and Syria into confrontation, and said that any military confrontation between the two Muslim states will serve the interests of the US and other occupying forces in the region.
"The US is trying to coax Turkey into military action against Syria in a bid to spark clashes between the two Muslim countries and overshadow the popular uprisings in the region," member of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Parviz Sorouri told FNA on Monday.
The remarks came after media reports said that Turkey may consider cooperating with international powers in the event they decide to intervene militarily in Syria,
A report in the Turkish "Hurriyet" newspaper said "Turkey has lost its patience with Syria".
According to Ankara officials, Turkish President Abdullah Gul has issued an ultimatum to Syrian President Bashar Assad via his Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu who visited Syria last month.
