Iran's Cultural Attachés Convene in Tehran Meeting

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's cultural envoys to the world states and bodies are in Tehran to attend a gathering arranged by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) from September 4 to 8.
The conference on "Islamic Awakening, New Islamic Civilization", kicked off with a ceremony on Sunday morning.

The development of Iranian cultural activities in different parts of the world, specially Latin America and Africa, is also being discussed during the event.

An exhibition of cultural products created by Iranian cultural attachés as well as new technologies and artworks created on the theme of Islamic awakening will be held on the sideline of the gathering.

At the opening ceremony of the event, Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyed Mohammad Hosseini announced that Iran is ready to boost cultural ties with other countries.

The minister mentioned that holding film weeks, art festivals as well as dispatching Iranian artists to other countries are among the activities conducted by Iran to boost its cultural ties with the world.
