Leader's Aide Confident about Brilliant Future of Muslims
TEHRAN (FNA)- A top military advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution expressed confidence about the growing power of the Muslim nations and the decreasing influence of the US and the Zionists in the world, and said the world conditions are changing in favor of the Muslims.
"In the 21st century, the US and Europe's power will decline and Zionists will become very weak and the weight of Iran and Islamic countries will grow and Americans and Zionists will lose weight," Supreme Leader's Advisor for Military Affairs Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said on Wednesday.
He pointed to the change in the world power and security orders during the last two decades and the recent popular movements in the region, and said, "The US Empire's dream for becoming the only power in a monopole world did not come true."
"The Islamic World with its geo-cultural, geo-economic and geo-political capacities and with a population of 1.6 billion people and the start of the Islamic awakening…can turn into a major pole of power in the contemporary era," Safavi added.
Earlier in August, Chairman of Iran's Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani reiterated that the waves of the Islamic awakening sweeping the Middle-East and North Africa will accelerate the collapse of the tyrannical regimes.
In a message marking the International Quds Day, he said that Islamic awakening movements have reverberated in the region and tyrant governments are collapsing one after another.
