Lao Airlines is satisfactory with increased passengers

VIENTIANE,SEPT7.(KPL)- The branch of Lao Airlines in Savannakhet province has been satisfactory its business operation after finding the number of passengers has increased continually, said Mr. Phoumin Vanavong.
Mr. Phoumin, Director of Savannakhet branch of Lao Airlines said that his company is presently the third rank of income earner of the company this year.
Over the past seven months of this year, the airline served over 90 flights to more than 5,500 passengers. While the Luang Prabang branch was the first rank of the income earner of the company, followed by Champassak province.
Presently, the Savannakhet branch of Lao Airlines is available for two flight routes between Savannakhet and Vientiane, and Savannakhet and Bangkok.
Mr. Phoumin continued that more flight route between Savannakhet and Bangkok will be added as schedule on Sunday, which will have twice a week to be operated November this year. In addition, we have planned to provide a new flight route between Savannakhet and Danang (Vietnam) by early 2012, he said. Lao Airlines branch in Savannakhet province reopened flight service in 2008, which faced many challenges in the beginning and some flights have been cancelled because there have been not passengers, he explained. After we have joined with the Tourism Administration of Thailand, and has adjusted the fare in comply with the currently conditions. The number of passengers has increased gradually, Mr. Phoumin added.
