The trunk pipeline system includes the operating 472-kilometre
Komsomolsk-on-Amur - Khabarovsk gas pipeline, as well as 1,350 kilometre sections from Sakhalin to Komsomolsk-on-Amur and from Khabarovsk to Vladivostok. The total length of the pipeline exceeds 1,800 kilometres.
The first stage of the pipeline has a capacity of 6 billion cubic
metres of gas a year. In the future, the system will transport about 30 billion cubic meters of gas from Sakhalin annually.
