Kim inspects new DVD-discs making plant
PYONGYANG, September 10 (Itar-Tass) - DPRK Leader Kim Jong-Il has
visited a new enterprise of the Mokran Video Company which was recently
built. As The KCNA news agency reports on Saturday, the secretary-general
of the Korean Workers Party and chairman of the State Defence Committee
familiarized himself with technical peculiarities of DVD-discs production.
He expressed gratitude to workers and engineers of this enterprise who
managed to "build it over a short period of time on the basis of the
latest achievements of science and technology." This "model and modern"
enterprise will make it possible, as Kim Jong-Il believes, "to quickly
spread pieces of art, including feature films and drama performances,
created in the DPRK among members of the party and the working class,
students and school boys and girls."
The DPRK leader expressed confidence that the labour collective of
this enterprise "will make new miracles" in DVD production and spreading
of the country's achievements in the field of culture among people.
Kim Jong-Il was accompanied by his younger son Kim Jong Un who
occupies the post of deputy chairman of the KWP Central Military
Committee, members of the political bureau and the secretariat of the
party.
