One road traffic policeman wounded in Dagestan shooting attack
MAKHACHKALA (Itar-Tass) - Dagestan's law enforcers are
searching for criminals who attacked a road traffic police team on Kavkaz
highway near the village of Novye Gadari, the Kizilyurt district.
"On Sunday evening unidentified criminals opened fire on road traffic
police officers and escaped on a VAZ-2124 car that had no number plates,"
the Dagestani Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass.
As a result of the attack one policeman was wounded and hospitalized.
According to investigators, criminals shot from two submachine guns and a pistol.
