Sindh: Heavy monsoon rains, flood water over topped irrigation channels, inundated hundreds of more villages, farms

Hyderabad, September 14, 2011 (PPI): Heavy monsoon rains and floods water has over topped irrigation channels and inundated hundreds of more villages and farms at a number of places in interior of Sindh province, officials said on Wednesday.

Heavy rain has been reported in Hyderabad‚ Mirpurkhas‚ Sanghar‚ Badin‚ Tando Muhammad Khan‚ Tharparkar and other districts of the province. Pumps machines are draining out rain water in low lying areas.
