Lotte Engineering wins US$110 mln order from Mongolia
SEOUL (Yonhap) - South Korea's Lotte Engineering & Construction Co. said Thursday that it has clinched a US$110 million deal to build a Hyatt hotel in the capital of Mongolia.
Under the deal with Mongolyn ALT Corporation of Mongolia, Lotte Engineering will work on the first stage of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Ulaanbaatar. The builder is responsible for setting up the framework and a curtain wall for the 41-story hotel with 230 service rooms, said Lotte Engineering.
The construction will begin later this month and be completed by September 2014, it said.
Lotte Engineering said that its projects of building luxury hotels in South Korea and Russia helped the company win the order in Mongolia.
