Iran Defeat Uzbekistan 132-38 in Asian Basketball

TEHRAN (FNA)- Reigning champions Iran overpowered Uzbekistan in an astonishing match in the 2011 FIBA Asian Championship in Wuhan, China on Saturday.
The Iranian squad crushed Uzbekistan 132-38 and advanced to the next stage as the Group B top team with three straight wins and six points.
Iran's Serbian coach, Veselin Matic, expressed satisfaction over the performance of his squad, saying, "It helped us build confidence."
"But then I like the way we defended also. It was not like we were only interested in scoring. It was a good way to ease into the Second Round," he added.
Iran is now scheduled to take on South Korea, Lebanon, and Malaysia in the second round of the games, which starts on Monday.
