Five killed, three injured in traffic accident in Volgograd
VOLGOGRAD, September 19 (Itar-Tass) -- Five persons were killed and
three more injured in a traffic accident involving a motor car and a motor
scooter in Russia's southern city of Volgograd, a spokeswoman for the
regional emergencies administration told Itar-Tass late on Sunday.
According to Elena Rodionova, the accident took place at 22:25 Moscow
time in Volgograd's Krasnooktyabrsky district.
"According to preliminary information, those killed were passenger of
a Hyundai Sonata car, two persons driving the scooter and a Hyundai
passenger were injured. So far there is no information whether there were
children or teenagers among those killed," she said.
