Officers of US Coastal Guard to arrive in Russia's Kamchatka

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, September 19 (Itar-Tass) -- A group of
senior officers from the 17th District of the United States Coastal Guard
led by District Commander Rear Admiral Thomas Ostebo arrives on Monday to
Russia's Far Eastern Kamchatka territory to sign documents on further
cooperation with the North-eastern border department of the Russian
Federal Security Service's Coastal Guard, the department's press service
reported.
The U.S. officers will stay in Russia from September 19 through 22 and
will hold working meetings with their Russian colleagues to discuss
results of joint operations in the Bering Strait and the northern sections
of the Pacific, as well as plans for further cooperation. They will also
visit the Vorovsky corvette.
