Turkish generator manufacturing company to light up F1 Singapore night race
ANKARA (A.A) - September 19, 2011 - A Turkish generator manufacturing company is set to power the lighting system at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, the season's only night race scheduled for next Sunday.
The Ankara-based Turkish company, GenPower, will install 28 of its 550 kVA diesel generators to provide electricity for around 1,600 light projectors.
The power that the generators will supply is enough to light up 15 soccer fields.
