Exhibition of oil, gas production equipment opens in Tyumen.

TYUMEN, September 20 (Itar-Tass) - The exhibition entitled "Oil and
gas. Fuel and energy complex", which opened here on Tuesday, will play an
important role in the work of the oil and gas industry, said Gennady
Shmal, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers.
"In conditions of dissociation, in which gas and oil workers, as well
as geologists, are working in Russia, the exhibition will give them a
chance to familiarize themselves with novel equipment in the industry and
to exchange experience," he told journalists.
The exhibition features equipment and instruments for 14 sectors of
the oil and gas industry. The 15th sector was provided by the nature
itself: a long-time autumn rain was started in the area, where 210
companies displayed their products. This is exactly the weather conditions
in which oilmen, gas producers and builders of the Tyumen Region work most
of the year.
"Companies from Russia, China, Romania and the United States are
displaying the latest scientific finds and unique instruments for the oil
and gas industry," Andrei Bobov, a representative of the Tyumen Fair, told
Itar-Tass. Judging by the experience of the past years, some 6,000
specialists in oil and gas production from Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan,
Ukraine, Belarus and Germany will see the exhibition.
The Avista Module Company from Novosibirsk created comfortable
dwellings for oil and gas producers working according to the shift-team
method in difficult weather conditions of the North. They are made up of
pre-fabricated modules, of which structures of several modifications can
be assembled.
Neftemash, the oldest enterprise in Tyumen for the production of
equipment for the oil and gas industry, displayed a wide range of block
and module equipment for oil and gas fields. Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk
Company displayed technologies for small-scale gas production.
"They are being mastered on the basis of the Bukhara gas field, in the
Sverdlovsk Region. In the future a broad use of those technologies will
give a new impetus to the regional economies of Russia through the
creation of local gas distribution networks," said a representative of the
gas industry.
The exhibition will work until September 23.
Round-table conferences, entitled "Mechanisms of the creation of
territorial innovation clusters and their role in the promotion of
innovation activity" and "Test sites as a mechanism of the working out of
new technologies of oil production," will be one of the feature events at
the exhibition. Specialists will discuss as well Russia's role on the
world market of energy carriers. Special attention will be devoted to the
development of small and medium business in the sphere of the fuel and
energy complex. One of the sections will discuss the strategy of the
innovation development of business, as well as small business in the
innovation economy.
