Putin sends congratulatory message to Armenia PM.

YEREVAN, September 21 (Itar-Tass) - Head of the Russian government
Vladimir Putin has congratulated Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisyan
on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the proclamation of the
republic's independence.
The congratulatory message, circulated here by the government press
service, points out, "Relations between our two countries, based on
centuries-long traditions of friendship and spiritual affinity, develop in
a positive key. Considerable successes have been achieved in
trade-and-economic, investment, scientific-and-technical, transport, and
cultural cooperation".
"Constructive interaction grows stronger within the framework of the
Commonwealth of Independent States, the Collective Security Treaty
Organization, and other multilateral formats," Putin pointed out. The
Russian Head of Government is confident that "a further step-up of
Russo-Armenian partnership contacts fully meets the vital interests of
our peoples, and is proceeding within the channel of efforts towards
ensuring stability and security in Transcaucasia".
In conclusion, Putin wished "good health, happiness, and new
successes" to his Armenian counterpart, and "wellbeing and prosperity to
all citizens of Armenia".
