Ahmadinejad Urges Independent States to Stand United against Powers

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is in New York for a UN General Assembly meeting, blasted the current world order, and called on independent states to unite against the expansionist policies of the hegemonic powers.
"The ongoing problems of humanity are because past slavers are in charge of the management of the world and are after looting nations' properties and imposing their will on them," Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph E. Gonsalves in New York.
"The essential solution to the problem is that all nations join together and stand against them," President Ahmadinejad reiterated.
He stressed that Iran and the Caribbean state together with other independent and justice seeking states can stand against the hegemonic policies of the arrogant powers.
"The era of slavery has ended and nations do not accept to go under their (the hegemonic powers') pressures," he underscored.
Gonsalves, for his part, urged for the bolstering of ties and cooperation between Iran and his country, underlining that the two countries' cooperation in different sectors would serve the interests of the two nations.
