Ahmadinejad Urges Resistance against Unfair Mechanisms in World

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the world nations to stand against unfair mechanisms and structures devised and practiced by certain western states to dominate the rest of the world
"In the current era certain western states practice systematic injustice and trample upon the rights of the nations through unfair mechanisms in the world," Ahmadinejad said in an interview on the sidelines of the 66th meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York.

He reiterated that human rights will be really respected in the world when "Everybody in any part of the world who supports humanity stands against the world's unjust and inhuman mechanisms in an effort to correct them."

Ahmadinejad has on many occasions dismissed the current world order as "unjust", and urged a structural change in the international system.

"The existing problems will not be solved while oppression and discrimination exist in the world," Ahmadinejad stated in a meeting with visiting Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir here in Tehran in June.

He pointed to the recent developments in the region, and said, "Today is the best chance for such a change."

President Ahmadinejad further called on nations to keep vigilant and prevent enemies from replacing their previous rulers through misleading slogans and in new forms.
