Chinese diplomat praises cooperation with Belarus
BEIJING, September 21 (Itar-Tass) - Cooperation between China and
Belarus is equitable and mutually beneficial, Chinese Foreign Ministry
spokesman Hong Lei told a news briefing on Wednesday.
"China and Belarus cooperate in various spheres on an equitable and
mutually beneficial basis," the diplomat said, commenting on China's
decision to lend to Belarus one billion dollars on preferential terms to
fulfill a number of joint projects.
"China backs and helps Belarus in its effort to intensify the social
and economic development of the country and raise the people's living
standards," Hong Lei said.
