Romanticism of Pushkin's Era exhibition opens in Madrid

MADRID (Itar-Tass) - An exhibition titled "Russian
Romanticism of Pushkin's Era" has opened at the Romanticism museum in
Madrid.
The display features 60 pictures from the Moscow State Museum of
Alexander Pushkin made by famous Russian painters like Orest Kiprenskiy,
Vasily Tropinin, Pyotr Sokolov, Ivan Aivazovskiy and others. The canvases
depict the images of the Russian poet, his friends and well-known people
of his time.
The exposition brings Spanish visitors to a world of Russian
romanticism, which is unknown but very close to them in spirit.
The exhibition has become possible thanks to fruitful cooperation
between the State Museum of Alexander Pushkin and the Madrid Museum of
Romanticism, which agreed to continue joint work in the field of
scientific research and exhibition activities
