Forty-two arrested with drugs at Parklife

(AAP) - Forty-two people have been nabbed for drug offences at the Parklife Music Festival, with police saying it's disappointing music fans aren't heeding their warnings.
Sniffer dogs uncovered ecstasy, amphetamines and cannabis during a blitz at the festival at Myer Music Bowl on Saturday.
Forty people arrested were referred to a drug diversion program while two people were interviewed for drug trafficking.
Acting Inspector Donald Brown, from the Melbourne Divisional Response Unit, said it was alarming that music fans did not heed police warnings before the event.
"It's disappointing that our message is still not getting through," acting Insp Brown said.
"We stand firm that illicit drug use and trafficking will not be tolerated at upcoming summer music festivals."
The dog operation focuses on harm minimisation, preventing overdoses and apprehending people trafficking drugs.
