Emerging markets may give impetus to world economy - view.

SINGAPORE, September 27 (Itar-Tass) - Integration of emerging markets
may give an impetus to growth of the world economy in the atmosphere of
crisis in the West, participants in the Russia-Singapore business forum
said on Tuesday.
"All forum participants are concerned about the situation in world
markets, and first of all how the crisis in the USA and Europe will affect
emerging markets, and how they will be able to withstand this tendency,"
Troika Dialog's Head of Fixed Income Research Alexander Kudrin said.
He explained that transformation of global markets and the global
system has become a key topic during discussions at the forum.
Participants stressed importance of mutual integration of emerging markets.
"The forum participants believe this may give an additional impetus to
growth of the world economy," he said.
Alexander Kudrin said that the forum was a unique platform.
"Formally, it is called Russia-Singapore, but it has gained a wider
format: it features the CIS countries and other Asian states," he said.
