Gov't to kick off Internet broadcast on inter-Korean affairs

SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- The Unification Ministry said Friday it will launch an Internet broadcast service this weekend in a move to raise public awareness of inter-Korean affairs.
The new service offers weekly television and a one-hour daily radio broadcast at unitv.unikorea.go.kr, the ministry said.
The weekly television program will also feature a sitcom on unification affairs for the next 20 weeks, it said.
The move comes as the ministry seeks to raise public interest on potential unification with North Korea. The Koreas remain technically at war since the 1950-53 Korean War ended in a cease-fire, not a peace treaty.
