Medvedev congratulates Hu Jintao on 62nd anniversary of PRC

MOSCOW (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has
sent a message of congratulations to Chinese President Hu Jintao on the
occasion of the 62nd anniversary since the formation of the People's
Republic of China.
As the Kremlin press service reported, the message says in particular:
"China's achievements over the past years can be described with
certainty as outstanding. I'm confident that the Chinese people will
continue to successfully solve the tasks of ensuring stable development
and prosperity of their state.
"We value close and mutually advantageous relations of Russian-Chinese
strategic partnership. Our meetings held in 2011 within the framework of
the events of the BRICS summit in April and in the course of Your state
visit to Russia in June gave a considerable impulse to the joint work on
advancing interaction in all directions. The implementation of the
agreements reached by us will, undoubtedly, ensure further progress of
cooperation in the trade and economic, scientific and technical,
humanitarian and other fields.
"Coordination of our countries' stands and approaches on the main
global and regional issues - - both in the bilateral format and within the
framework of such international organizations as the SCO and BRICS which
are gaining authority - - becomes an ever more weighty factor of
international politics. In modern conditions, Russian-Chinese interaction
on the floors of the UNO, as well as G20, APEC and other multilateral
forums gains special importance.
"I'm confident the Russian-Chinese constructive and fruitful dialogue
at the highest level will continue promoting the deepening of multifaceted
ties between the two countries for the good of our peoples, in the
interests of strengthening stability and security in the world."
