Iran, Azerbaijan Ink Draft Agreement on Print Industry Cooperation
TEHRAN (FNA)- A member of Iran's Print industry's policymaking council announced that Iran and Azerbaijan have signed a draft agreement on holding an exhibition on Iran's print and packaging capabilities in Azerbaijan.
Returning back from Baku Print Expo, Masoud Farshi-farid told the Iran book news agency that "head of the publication sector of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism Cingiz Aliyev visited Iran's pavilion and asked for boosting the relations and cooperation between the two countries' print industries after getting familiar with Iran's print abilities and achievements".
In order to hold the fair, Cingiz Aliyev pledged to grant special facilities to Iranian printing house owners.
Farshi-farid added," The MoU includes joint investment, easing customs and cultural operations for the import of Iranian products."
Azerbaijan's Book and Print Expo was held at Baku Exhibition Center from 28 to 30 September 2011.
